This one is yet to hit for me. Every review I’ve read and seen of this gives it ultimate praise. Out of the box mine wasn’t smelling as potent as many claim. So I’m letting it macerate for a couple months before I give it another go. It should have improved by then.

Bought this as a dupe for MM’s By the Fireplace and i gotta say i’m so pleasantly surprised and impressed by how good it is!! To me this smells exactly like By the Fireplace, and i would definitely recommend Ameer Al Oudh as an alternative!! Only difference is it smells a teeny tiny bit more vanilla-y to me, and it actually lasts way longer!! Seriously – i sprayed twice on my wrist and after taking a shower it was still lingering!! Love this 🙂

I much prefer this over, by the fire place. It also reminds me of oud mood. This one truly is a beast. My daughter regularly wears this during the cooler months. She will spray it on a 6am and I can still smells it on her when arrives home at 2pm. Big compliment getter! I will repurchase over and over.
